Someone pinch me, will ya?

I met up with Kathryn & O.j. at Eklutna Lake in late December to capture their engagement photos while visiting his family for the holidays...and I swear, it was all a dream.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, all we could see was a cloud of fog covering the lake! Fully embracing it, we wandered along the shore and totally rocked the "moody" elements the day was throwing our way...until what seemed like suddenly, the fog lifted and we were given absolutely EPIC Alaska mountain views.

These two trekked through the snow and ice, spun & jumped around in the freezing temps and laughed along with my crazy directions the entire time. (No matter the weather, the goal is always to have fun on these shoots, after all. It will just feel like an afternoon of exploring!) Plus, a chilly winter session in Alaska? Probably the most perfect place to freeze your butt off for some beautiful memories captured ;)
