Where to elope in western North Carolina
You’re eloping in western NC! Congrats! So beyond excited for you.
As an adventure elopement photographer, my job is to help couples plan their dream wedding day. And I want to help you get started, too.
Maybe that looks like a location in Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, or somewhere in the wilderness. The options are endless.
This area truly has a little bit of everything - mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and more. All of that beauty (and all of those choices) means big decisions. What’s right for your big day?
I’m here to help take a little piece of that planning stress off of your shoulders. Here’s a rundown of some scenic trails, easily accessible viewpoint, and even some unique venue ideas to consider for your elopement location.
Location idea #1
Hit the trails
Myth: short hike = less spectacular views.
Absolutely not true! Especially around the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Mountains. Take a little stroll up one of these short trails (listed below) for jaw-dropping scenery and minimal effort. Bonus: this gives you more time to relax at the top! Picnic on a mountaintop, anyone?
