So, you’ve decided to ditch the ballroom wedding day and create a celebration that actually feels like you. No formal requirements and no unnecessary planning stress. Heck yes! I’m so beyond excited for you.
Whether that looks like a backyard micro-wedding, adventure elopement, destination wedding or truly anything in-between, this celebration is completely unique to the two of you. And that’s exactly what a wedding day should be.
Does that mean saying your vows in the forest with your family and friends? Just the two of you eloping a mountaintop? Will you gather at a favorite local brewery, or dance into the evening with drinks, music and a bonfire?
Your wedding day experience matters!
Whatever it is that reflects your relationship, you should absolutely do it. Which is why my job isn’t just about showing up on your big day and taking some photos (although I totally have you covered on the photos part too).
I’m here to help you dream up, plan and document an epic, intentional wedding or elopement day experience.
This means that we’ll be chatting a bunch before the day arrives. Live nearby? We’ll probably even grab a coffee or beer in person, too! You’ll have my cell phone number and can text me any time with questions, new ideas, you name it. I’m here for you throughout the entire process. Let’s do this!
Every elopement & wedding package includes…
- At least one planning meeting via phone call to talk about all of your ideas, go over photography details, and actually get to know one another.
- A detailed elopement questionnaire to get us all 100% on the same page. I send this over 1-2 months before your big day.
- Unlimited planning guidance! I’ll even help you dream up the day from scratch, if you’re not sure where to start. For more elopement & wedding planning ideas in the meantime, click here.
- Unlimited access to me via phone, email and more. Seriously - please message me any time. I love being kept in the loop with anything from big decisions to the littlest details. And I’ll always be here to lend an extra opinion or a listening ear.
- Your own personal dress fluffer and professional pack mule on the big day. I’ll be hanging out and snapping away while the ceremony unfolds, and then stepping in to guide you and celebrate with you during the rest of the day.
- Small sneak peek gallery of roughly 10 images within 1 week. Because who likes waiting?!
How to get started
-
Think of what your ideal landscape, weather and vibe would look like for your elopement or wedding day. You can choose a place that’s already meaningful to both of you, or is an exciting new place to visit that checks all of your boxes. The sky is the limit!
-
Do you want to celebrate with a relaxing pizza picnic in the sand? A hike up an epic mountain trail? Write your vows together at sunrise? Do you want to have easy access to local restaurants after your ceremony? Or even hire a helicopter for a glacier landing? Make sure to incorporate some sweet “experiences” into your day, no matter how grand or intimate they are.
-
First: the marriage license. Every state has different requirements when it comes to witnesses, timeframe to get married, etc - so just be sure to keep this in mind when planning. Second: if you’re eloping, check on any permits that are required for your chosen ceremony location. Don’t worry, I can help with this!

You’re getting married! Go ahead and make this entire day about you two. Then, just be sure to bring your marriage license with you to the ceremony so it’s official.
After that, it’s time to celebrate! Enjoy the plans you’ve made for the rest of the day, capture some incredible moments in that epic scenery, relax, and remember to truly soak it all in.
You’ve made it this far…phew
