Surprise Alpe di Siusi Proposal | Dolomites Engagement Photographer

When John reached out about his surprise proposal to Lindsey, he knew his exact vision for the big moment. The intentionality behind his proposal was something I was so honored to capture - choosing the St. Valentin church (to represent St. Valentine, for love), surrounded by those gorgeous mountains as the backdrop. 

After the surprise proposal went off without a hitch (and she said “yes!”), we drove up to Alpe di Siusi for a sunset engagement session. Instead of glowing evening light, we actually witnessed lightning strikes growing closer and closer as we photographed in the scenic meadows. Yet somehow, we missed the rain entirely until the very final few moments of their Dolomites engagement session. Pure magic (and maybe a little bit of luck)!
